Flower Care

Some top tips on making the most of your beautiful flowers...

Before sale we take every care to ensure our flowers are kept in the right conditions and are fully hydrated. There are a few simple steps you can take to ensure your flowers last longer:

If you have had a flower delivery, they will have been delievered in an aquabox or vase to keep them hydrated constantly. This ensures that the flowers remain hydrated during delivery and will stay in the best condition if the recipient is not home.

If you receive an aqua pack bouquet, you can leave the flowers in the water & we recommend removing the packaging and placing them in a vase after a day or two, being careful to cut the cellophane to drain the water before removing the packaging. When transferring to a vase or for flowers received in a vase, recut all stems at a 45 degree angle and add to a clean deeply filled vase of tepid water with flower food added so all the stems are submerged. We recommend you recut the stems and change the water at least every other day.

If you have received flowers that have been collected so are out of water, recut stems at a 45 degree angle then place in a deeply filled vase of tepid water with flower food as soon as possible after you receive them. Repeat care as above every other day.

Place your flowers in a cool room, out of any draughts or direct sunlight and avoid the fruit bowl!

Enjoy your beautiful Flower Hut blooms!
