Flower Care

Helping to make your flowers last longer

Flowers are naturally delicate and need to be handled carefully.

Before sale we take every care to ensure our flowers are kept in the right conditions and hydrated properly., however there are a few simple steps you can take to ensure your flowers last longer;

Firstly, when ordering your beautiful flowers, especially in the wonderfully warm summer months, we would always recommend that the flowers are delivered in water, an aqua pack. This ensures that the flowers remain hydrated during delivery and will stay in the best condition if the recipient is not home.

If you receive an aqua pack bouquet, you can leave the flowers in the water, however we would recommend that you remove them after a couple of days, being careful to cut the cellophane to drain the water before removing the packaging.

To arrange your lovely flowers, fill a suitable container with clean tepid water and add the flower food.  Re-cut the flower stems a a 45 degree angle and place in the water, allowing them to drink for an hour or so.  They can then be transferred to your favourite Vase.

Place your flowers in a cool room, out of any draughts or direct sunlight  and remember to change the water on a regular basis.

Finally enjoy! x
